To initiate a data drive, navigate to Employee > Admin > Data Drive. The Data Drive page appears displaying the Aadhaar and Bank Account tabs. Click the respective tabs to initiate data drives and collect Aadhaar and bank account details of employees.
The Data Drive feature includes the following events:
Initiating Data Drives
Perform the following steps to initiate a data drive for your employees:
Click the Aadhaar tab or Bank Account tab, based on the drive that you want to initiate. The respective tabs expand displaying the following details:
- Count of Pending Initiation, Pending Employee Action and To be Reviewed, helping you to keep a track on the drive
- List of employees (who are eligible for PF) who are yet to submit their Aadhaar or bank account details
Sort out the employees using the Employee and Employee Filter drop downs available.
- By default, the Pending Initiationoption appears in the Status drop down. Following are the other options available in the drop down that you can use accordingly:
- Pending Employee Action
- To Be Reviewed
- The status that you select under Aadhaartab, remains the same when you switch to the Bank Account tab and vice versa. You can then change the status as per your requirement.
Click the check boxes to select all or selected employees.
Click Initiate Data Drive. The particular data drive is initiated and a dialog box appears prompting you to confirm the action.
Click Confirm. A message appears informing that the drive is successfully initiated.
SMS and email are sent to the employees informing that the particular drive is initiated for them and they need to log on to the greytHR application to update their details. Once these employees log on to the application, they are prompted by a dialog box where they can then update their Aadhaar or bank account details (based on the initiated drive) along with a valid attachment. If an employee doesn’t have an Aadhaar card and has enrolled for it, even the enrollment details can be updated. After the Aadhaar card is created, the same has to be updated in the application.
